Last Friday was my birthday (for all unofficial reasons). Mark was working all weekend, so we postponed the celebration day to Monday after co-op. The girls had anticipated baking a cake for me all weekend. (I think they had visions of a three tiered cake with waterfalls flowing from one level bursting into the jungle, with their chosen animals drinking from the river... Maybe we watch too much Cake Boss around here.)
If the box says 30 seconds on low and 4 minutes on medium and Mark is the "cake boss" you can bet it is being timed-check the watch in Haleigh's hand.
There was a LOT of taste testing!
My cake had a jungle theme (go figure;) Sophie designed the cheetah, Haleigh added the gorilla, and Mackenzie crafted a crocodile and ladybugs (the purple dots.)
And its officially over. Many times over the weekend Haleigh said, "Let me do it Mom, you are the birthday girl until you blow out your candles.) 
Thanks for making my evening so special! It was a joy to watch you all work together to show me so much love. I love you so much and because of you 4 my new number is just icing on the cake!
