A Birthday Eve...

Here we go again! The cake was actually baked early with the help of the birthday gal to be and her handy side kick sister.

Then the decorating began around 11:00 tonight. The ground work is complete, however Sophie wanted to help me decorate her cake this year. So it is in the freezer waiting for the precise placing of Tinkerbell and her friends. Earlier today Sophie had very specific ideas of how she wanted each one placed. She even mention placing the cake in "just the right glint of sunlight so it could made Iradessa's wings sparkle just right." I have saved some icing in various colors to add the needed details as the fairies take their places.

I hope when Sophie sees her cake tomorrow and adds the finishing touches she will feel as special as is!!
