WAY TO GO GIRL!!!
Today Sophie took the "memory master" test for co-op. It covered information from the entire year. (160 time line cards from creation to modern day America (without the cards), history, Latin, science, geography (main focus on Europe and Asia), math facts and laws, and English grammar) Leading up to today's testing I proofed Sophie on all the info (several times,) Mark proofed her on all the info., this morning one of the teachers from co-op proofed her again, finally she met with our director. She rolled a dice and it landed on 6. She again relayed all the info, but this time only for weeks 6,12,18, and 24. (She was disappointed the director wouldn't let her do all 24 weeks again.) She did it, complete mastery of the information!
Much celebrating happened upon completing her test. Mark had the day off so as soon as she was done testing we met him and two happy sisters at the park, followed by lunch and Bruesters Ice Cream. (We have a tea party in the works with a dear friend who has been cheering Sophie on along the way.)WE ARE SO PROUD OF YOU SOPHIE!!!!
